Our first videotape and CD were made from a WCCO Television Dimension report. The two-part series on fire safety was done in November of 2001 The reporting on home evacuation drills raises awareness of the need to implement and practice drills where people feel the safest: their homes. Many of our members reported an increase in the number of requests from parents and citizens for information on escape planning after this segment aired.

The second segment on residential sprinklers was equally impressive. Residential sprinklers not only provide property protection but, most importantly, provides life safety. It’s time to get this information out to the public. They need to see this and understand how residential sprinklers can protect their loved ones.
